Three Capes Lodge

Three Capes LodgeI was recently introduced to Three Capes Lodge, a vacation property located in Oceanside. I am of course in love, which, given my affinity for beautiful real estate is no surprise. The property owners target weddings, group retreats, family reunions, etc.

If you’re hosting a big family get-to-gether, this house is a great choice, as opposed to properties that really don’t allow that kind of gathering.

One of my favorite things about this house is that it’s wheelchair accessible. The home is equipped with an elevator that provides access to three out of the four floors to wheelchair users.

The home is VERY roomy, so there’s no problem navigating in a chair. One of the upstairs bedrooms also features a fully accessible bathroom with bars near the toilet.

2nd Floor – Main Living Area

The main floor of the home features a large Kitchen, that is more than fully stocked with dishes and anything you’d need to cook Easter Dinner, Thanksgiving Dinner, or anything else you can think of to cook in there, outside of perhaps the wedding cake.

There are also several seasonings provided, in-case you don’t think of absolutely EVERYTHING.

The living area and dining space are also located on this floor. Both amply furnished. The living room features dark leather furniture that’s very comfortable and inviting, but that is also elegant and offers an air of luxury. What’s better, the three sofa’s are sofa sleepers.

3rd Floor – Main Sleeping Area

The 3rd floor features two Master Suites, each with a connecting full bath. Both rooms feature queen beds and sitting areas, as well as Pacific Ocean views.

1st Floor of Three Capes Lodge in Oceanside

The 1st floor which is really at the basement level features a fully contained 1 bedroom vacation area. The 1 bedroom apartment features a full bathroom, a small kitchenette with a motel sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a microwave. The living area isn’t huge, in fact the flat screen television is tremendous in the smaller space. The living area hosts two sofa’s one of which pulls out into a bed.

The basement apartment also features a bedroom with a full bed.

The entire home features beautiful hard wood flooring, with the exception of the tile floor below. In the summer months, guests are able to take advantage of the outside of the home as well as the inside, including a Bar B Que Grill, and garden furniture.

The home is child friendly, with thoughtfully placed stools, a children’s potty chair, and a nice (if not outdated) collection of games and movies.
